Calculator

TRON fee calculator

How much TRX the network will take for your USDT transfers — and how much you keep with rented energy. Burn cost comes from live network parameters, rental from the live price.

How the fee is calculated

A TRON fee is made of two resources. Energy pays for running the USDT contract; bandwidth pays for the size of the transaction. If the address has neither, the network burns TRX: energy at the getEnergyFee price and bandwidth at the getTransactionFee price. Super Representatives vote on both, and they change.

For a USDT transfer with no resources: energy × energy price + bytes × byte price. The calculator pulls the current values from the network and plugs in the typical consumption of a transfer.

Ballpark figures; your wallet shows the exact consumption of a specific transaction before you sign.

Why your number may differ

  • Recipient without USDT — the contract writes a new balance, which costs almost twice as much.
  • Your own energy — from staking, say: the network spends that first.
  • Free bandwidth — 600 units a day cover one or two transfers.
  • Network parameter changes — the calculator re-reads them every time the page refreshes.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why do identical transfers cost different amounts?

Usually it’s the recipient: sending to an address that has never held USDT takes about 131,000 energy instead of 65,000. The other factor is leftover energy and bandwidth on your own address.

Does it include exchange withdrawal fees?

No. When you withdraw from an exchange, the exchange sets the fee, not the network. The calculator covers transfers from your own wallet.

How accurate is the rental price?

It’s the current price. The bot shows the exact order total before you pay — it can differ slightly if the market has moved.
