Rent TRON bandwidth
Bandwidth is the network’s second resource. It pays for the transaction itself — its size in bytes. Every active address gets a little for free each day; past that, TRX gets burned.
| Resource | Amount | Term | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Energy · 1 USDT transfer | 65,000 | 15 minutes | 2.72 TRX |
| Energy · 1 USDT transfer | 65,000 | 1 hour | 3.15 TRX |
| Energy · transfer to a new address | 131,000 | 1 hour | 6.35 TRX |
| Bandwidth · 1 transaction | 350 | 1 hour | 0.255 TRX |
Bandwidth vs. energy
Energy pays for contract computation; bandwidth pays for data. A plain TRX transfer only uses bandwidth, while a USDT transfer uses both. That’s why a wallet can still show a small fee even with rented energy: it’s bandwidth.
An active address receives 600 free bandwidth units a day. A USDT transfer takes roughly 345 bytes, so one or two transfers a day go through free. Anything beyond is paid by burning TRX.
When renting bandwidth makes sense
| Situation | Bandwidth | Rent? |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 transfers a day from an address | within the free 600 | no |
| A payout batch from one address | ≈ 345 × transfers | yes |
| An exchanger’s hot wallet | always at zero | yes, alongside energy |
| A plain TRX transfer | ≈ 270 bytes | if the allowance is gone |
How to rent bandwidth
Work out the amount
Roughly 350 units for every USDT transfer beyond your free allowance.
Order in the bot
Bandwidth section, sending address, amount. The term is one hour.
Send your transfers
The network draws on the rented bandwidth instead of TRX.
Frequently asked questions
I had energy, so why was a little TRX still burned?
Most likely the address had used up its free daily bandwidth. Energy covers the contract; the transaction size is billed separately.
When does free bandwidth come back?
Gradually, over 24 hours after it’s used. The full daily allowance is 600 units per activated address.
Can I get bandwidth and energy in one order?
They’re separate resources and separate orders, but both take a couple of minutes in the same bot and land on the same address.
